Maui

We're here in Maui, and have been completely awestruck by it's beauty. I cried when we saw it from the plane, just overcome that this dream I've had for so long was finally coming true. There is no more perfect place on the planet in our opinion. Here are just a few of the thousand pictures we've taken in our first 3 days here!!!

ALOHA!!!!

Avery is 20 Months Old !!!

This is super late, as Avery was 20 Months Old on July 17th, but this precious time absolutely must be documented. She is rapidly growing and changing, blossoming really. Each month seems to bring some new dimension of her personality, and we delight in the discovery!

She is quite the climber, and frequently finds herself in the most interesting places.

She LOVES the Ripley dog, and "Ree-Reep" is so sweet to oblige Avery's intense desire to snuggle, and/or pet the belly.





Her favorite thing to do, by far, would be to watch a video entitled "Baby Longhorn". ("BABY Hah-Non" is how it comes out when she says it... over & over.) It was a gift for Reilly (when he was a baby) from Uncle Mike & Aunt Honey, and it's awesomeness has stood the test of time. Avery's favorite part of the video would be, when the Longhorn Cheerleaders are featured. She says, "CHEELaaalaaaa" and puts her hands in the air while twirling in a circle! (Yes, it was unavoidable... cheerleading is in her genes! Mommy is so proud!)

I just LOVE her chubby little hands in this one...

Sugar and spice and everything nice... that's what our little Avery is made of. (Okay, maybe a little more of the spice than anything else... but that's how we like it!)

Chick-Fil-A Cow Day

This was our second year to participate in the Chick-Fil-A Cow Appreciation Day, in which you dress up like a cow to get free food! In this situation- silliness abounds, I'm afraid. Guess it's a good thing that silly is something we do quite well.

So we met up with some friends, and slapped on a few spots.
