The Out of Towners

Our very dear friends were in town from California for a visit, and we were all so excited to see them! Teri was my very best friend all through high school, and now her amazing husband and beautiful children have become so precious to us as well!

Teri and baby Lela, who is almost 1.

Beecher and Braxton, this boy has the best smile ever!

We met up at the mall for a playdate- the kids had so much fun together! They were crawling, jumping, chasing, falling, giggling, and became a sweaty mess! (Teri was so surprised that none of them "broke their face"!) Ha!

Reilly taught Avery a new way of sliding...

When I allow Reilly to style his own hair, it looks like a 90's Caesar cut. And all the sweating didn't help matters much.

Love love love this. A pile-up.

Our sweet, happy kiddos.

Precious baby Lela was staying out of the fray.

Beautiful, just like her Momma. And those eyelashes!!!!

And sweet Aunt Teri was kind enough to spring for a ride in the duck car.

What a blast! And a treat to visit with our friends, who we hope to see again soon!

Girl's Night Out

Had a wonderful Girl's Night Out tonight with 2 of the best gals around... Keri & Jessica! It's been too long since the last one! We went to a great Mexican restaurant, followed by our traditional trip to the Cheesecake Factory for some delectable cheesecake!

for me, my new favorite is Brownie Sundae Cheesecake. Trust me people... Fantastic.

and Keri loved her Banana Cream Cheesecake!

Jessica was a fan of the Godiva Chocolate...

It was great to reconnect and have some girl talk! (It's amazing how relaxing just being with the girls can be!) Thanks gals...your encouragement and laughter are appreciated, and your friendship is treasured. Can't wait for the next one!!

Reilly's 1st Soccer Game!

We were all very excited for Reilly's first soccer game in 2 years!! He is playing for the Spiders this season, and Daddy is helping to coach!
It didn't really look like it, but it was flippin' cold that day!!

Avery didn't stay out in that cold wind very long, she went to sit in the car with Mimi & Grandpa!!
Silly Uncle Mike
Aunt Honey was there too, with her big camera of course!

Our little #17 got in a few good kicks that day.

And did a whole lot of running!!!

Can you see Aunt Honey?? She was hard at work too.

Coach Daddy said hydration is a must.

And everyone listens to Coach Daddy, because he's a soccer genius.

Couldn't let the day go by without a few kung-fu moves...

and we're learning to share the ball with our teammates...

A break-away!!!

And he got a little scraped-up, but he's learning to be tough. We just rubbed a little dirt on it and then he was fine. (His Coach called it "boy medicine".)

We're looking forward to a great season!!!

Valentine's Day

Some Valentines for our sweet kiddos... a helicopter for Reilly that he saw and loved at the place where we get his hair cut. (I was able to buy it without him knowing, and he was so sad when he saw that someone had purchased it. Weeks later on Valentines Day, it was wonderful to see the joy and surprise on his face when he realized that someone was ME! ) And for Avery, we saw these earrings while we were in Breckenridge, and just had to get them for our sweet strawberry girl !!

Heart pancakes & Pop-Tarts for breakfast

Reilly's 3d Toy Story card

She loves the strawberry earrings!!

And the heart Pop-Tarts!

We loved our Edible Arrangement from Mimi !!! Yumm-o.

Happy Valentine's Day!
