State Fair

One of our many family traditions is the State Fair every October! We enjoy the food (of course), the rides, the cars, and the animals!!

We just can't miss the Jalapeno Corn Dogs, Roasted Corn, Fried Cheesecake, and cookie ice cream sandwiches from Pokey-O's.

The kids LOVED feeding the baby animals! And the grown-ups always enjoy the Auto Show. Avery just can't wait to be big enough to ride all those awesome rides with the Reilly Bear.

Pizza Night

We love making our own pizzas, and the kids are great at it !! And, they love to steal some pepperoni when they think I'm not looking. ;)

Hook 'em Horns !!

Avery's favorite video to watch is still "Baby Longhorn", and she loves to say "Hook 'em Horns!!" constantly. She thinks that every stranger she meets needs to hear about those awesome Longhorns. She especially loves her new shirt, and chooses to wear it all the time.

Annual Scrapbooking Weekend !!!!

For the past 5 years, I have attended a Scrapbooking Retreat on Labor Day Weekend in East Texas. And for the past few years, my sweet Momma has come along too! There are also some wonderful girlfriends who attend as well, along with the most delicious food. Food that I don't have to prepare. Or clean up. It is so nice to be waited on for a change!!!! It is such an amazing time, that I impatiently look forward to all year long! All we do is eat, talk, sleep as late as we want, and lounge in our pj's while watching girly movies and preserving our families' memories. It is absolutely heavenly.
