Great Wolf Lodge- Day 1

Okay, whoever came up with the concept for Great Wolf Lodge is a complete genius!! It's what every kid would dream of, and quite possibly, could be persuaded to sell their every possession... down to their parents- in order to live there. It's that cool.

For those of you who don't know, Great Wolf Lodge is most famous for their INDOOR Water Park. And, since our Reilly Bear LOVES a Water Park, we thought there couldn't be a better place on Earth for him to experience!! It also has an arcade, a Pizza Hut, A Sweet Shoppe, and a game called MagiQuest. (Which is essentially a really expensive scavenger hunt... that takes the kids all through the hotel and allows them to wave magic wands at inanimate objects.) During said scavenger hunt, the kids are forbidden to use the elevators (which makes it easier for all those families hauling their entire closets up to their hotel rooms... And also, all that running and stair-climbing makes for a peaceful night's sleep!)

We had a wonderful first day at the water park, then had pizza for dinner and cupcakes, fudge, and the best cinnamon roll ever for dessert! Then it was Pajama Story Time in the Lobby. After that, we played MagiQuest until they closed it down for the night. It was an absolute BLAST!
