We took a road trip to East Texas to visit Great-Granddaddy at the beginning of the summer, and we just couldn't wait to get there!
Avery had to have her "B" of course.
And Reilly was super cool in his camo sunglasses.
Daddy felt too sleepy to drive, but perfectly alert enough to take some goofy pictures.
It is such a joy to watch the kids interacting with Granddaddy, we love watching them learn from each other. Great-Granddaddy is pretty impressed with their cool new-fangled toys, and he knows lots of great stuff about fishing and coins.
Coin collecting... Granddaddy gave Reilly all of his state quarters.
This is how we found our sweet children on the way home: Reilly was completely tuckered out...
And our darling daughter, decided to decorate her head with stickers. That was fun.
It was a great trip, and we look forward to seeing him again soon !
