Reilly won this awesome trophy at school, for completing the most laps in all of the first grade during the "walk-a-thon". He completed 10 laps, both running and walking. He was so very very proud of himself, as are we!!! But, a little bummed because we missed the Awards Ceremony! We read the note that was sent home that informed us that the children with perfect attendance and perfect conduct would be getting awards. Well, we knew that Reilly hasn't been quite "perfect" at school this year, so we didn't think the Awards Ceremony was somewhere we needed to be this time! GRRRRRR!!! Hated to miss that moment, but a sweet friend of ours was there and snapped a few pictures.
I suppose we've learned our lesson, and will henceforth be at each and every Awards Ceremony that his school has to offer!!!
