12th Anniversary - June 10, 2012

A look back at one of the best days of our lives... Our Wedding Day, June 10, 2000. I love this man so much more today than I did then. We always make a big deal about celebrating our Anniversary, and this year was no different. We are so thankful to Nana & Granddad for keeping Reilly & Avery so we could spend 2 nights away in a hotel, just the 2 of us. (Well, baby girl was there too.) ;) We spent our days away doing lots of eating, talking, laughing, relaxing, and shopping for baby! It was fantastic !

For this, our 12th Anniversary, we made a reservation at one of our favorite restaurants... Reata in Downtown Fort Worth. The food is superb, our favorites being the ginormous onion rings, pecan buttermilk biscuits, bacon jalapeno mac & cheese, and chicken fried steak. Yum.

We opened a card that Reilly picked out for us all by himself, and were totally blown away. Of course, it had to do with super-heroes...

In case you can't read it, it says "You two are perfect for each other". Wow. We had no idea he felt that way, it was so precious to us. We just had to laugh as we looked at each other, both tearing up in the restaurant... reading a card with cartoon characters on it. :) We will be keeping that card FOREVER. After dinner, we strolled around Downtown and found some tiny boots for baby girl..

We usually have wine or champagne to toast with when we enjoy our cake in our hotel room, but this year was a bit different...

We happily opted for milk instead. :)

Happy 12th Anniversary, my beloved. With YOU is my favorite place to be.
