Our church hosted a Christmas Festival with a live Nativity, and it was just awesome. I think it really struck Reilly, being able to see the story of Jesus' birth come to life !
The angel appeared to Mary, to tell her she would be the mother of Christ the Lord.
Joseph & Mary on their long journey to Bethlehem.
the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks by night.
the Angels appeared to the shepherds, singing.
the Magi traveled far to worship Jesus. They brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus and the Star
Avery & I were both riveted. It was quite moving to see it played out in that way.
It also helped Daddy & I to remember the real Reason for the Season and celebrate the hope our Savior has given us !
After we viewed the Nativity, the kids enjoyed hayrides, snacks and bouncehouses!
they waited their turn so patiently.
Avery was cold, so Daddy carried her for a while.
HAYRIDES !!!
We were so cozy, all snuggled together on our hayride.
took advantage of the heater... it was COLD!
Avery trying out the "circus train" bounce house
We stayed until everything closed up for the night, they could have stayed in that bounce house for DAYS !
